Jumbo, an Indonesian animated fantasy adventure film, has achieved remarkable success, becoming Southeast Asia's highest-grossing animated feature. Since its release on March 31, 2025, the film has garnered over 7.8 million admissions and grossed approximately $18.7 million, surpassing previous regional records.

A Record-Breaking Journey

Produced by Visinema Pictures and directed by Ryan Adriandhy, Jumbo tells the story of Don, a 10-year-old orphan nicknamed “Jumbo” due to his size. The narrative follows Don's discovery of a magical storybook left by his parents and his encounter with Meri, a fairy seeking to reunite with her family. Following its domestic success, Jumbo is set for an international rollout starting in June 2025. The film will be released in 17 countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Russia, Ukraine, and the Baltic states .
